Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple (sweet or crisp variety like Gala, Honeycrisp, or Pink Lady), cored and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen; if fresh, hull them)
  • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (Greek or regular; or use a dairy-free yogurt)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup liquid (milk, almond milk, oat milk, or cold water)
  • 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional, but brightens the flavor)
  • Pinch of salt (just a tiny bit to round out the sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional, if using fresh strawberries and you want it extra cold)

Instructions

  • Prep the fruit. Core and chop the apple. If you like a silkier texture, peel it; if you want extra fiber, leave the peel on. Hull the strawberries if they’re fresh.
  • Load the blender. Add the liquid first, then yogurt, apple, and strawberries. This helps the blades catch everything easily.
  • Add the boosters. Drizzle in honey or maple syrup if your fruit isn’t very sweet. Squeeze in the lemon juice and toss in a tiny pinch of salt.
  • Blend until smooth. Start on low, then move to high for 30–60 seconds. If it’s too thick, splash in more liquid. If it’s too thin, add a few frozen strawberries or a couple of ice cubes.
  • Taste and adjust. Add a bit more sweetener or lemon if needed. You want a bright, clean strawberry-apple flavor with gentle creaminess.
  • Serve cold. Pour into a chilled glass for the best texture. Drink right away.
